Seyhan Uygur Onbasioglu: As a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) for 20 years, I have been dedicated to advancing the knowledge and practice of thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). My research interests include turbulence, multiphase flows, system integration in engineering. I am passionate about fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, ethics, integrity and diversity in my field. Personally, with my deep interest in philosophy, literature and anthropology I enjoy the combination of the technical and social values.
